Food Safety Programs & Compliance

The full set of documented programs an FDA-regulated food business needs, from hazard analysis through daily recordkeeping.

HACCP Plan Development & Review

Identify the critical points in your process where hazards need active control, and build the plan that manages them. We review existing plans for accuracy and update them as your process or product changes.

Food Safety Plan Development

Build the written plan required under FSMA preventive controls, covering hazards, controls, and monitoring procedures. This becomes the core document your facility operates from and the one FDA reviews during an inspection.

Preventive Controls Program Development

Set up the specific controls that prevent, eliminate, or reduce the hazards identified in your process. Each control comes with monitoring, verification, and corrective action procedures built in.

Food Safety Risk Assessments

Identify where contamination and hazard risks are highest across your operation. We help prioritize the areas that need attention first based on actual risk rather than guesswork.

Environmental Monitoring Programs

Test your facility environment for pathogens before they have a chance to reach your product. This includes setting up a sampling plan and a clear response procedure for positive results.

Traceability & Recall Programs

Track product through your supply chain and respond quickly if a recall becomes necessary. We build a system that lets you trace a product from raw material to finished goods within hours, not days.

Frequently Asked Questions

A food safety program typically includes a HACCP plan, GMP program, sanitation and allergen control procedures, environmental monitoring, traceability and recall plans, and the recordkeeping that documents all of it. Which elements you need depends on your product and process.

Most FDA-regulated food manufacturers and processors are required to have a HACCP plan or an equivalent food safety plan under preventive controls rules. The exact requirement depends on your product type and the size of your operation.

Yes. We build food safety programs for businesses based in Florida as well as companies across the United States and internationally.

A HACCP plan focuses specifically on identifying and controlling hazards at critical points in production. A food safety plan is broader, and under FSMA preventive controls rules also includes GMPs, allergen controls, and a written recall plan.

Most food safety program builds take a few weeks to a few months, depending on the size of the operation and what documentation already exists. A full rebuild from scratch takes longer than updating an existing program.

A GMP program, or Good Manufacturing Practices program, covers the basic sanitation, hygiene, and facility conditions required to produce safe food. Nearly all food manufacturing and processing facilities are required to have one in place.

We do both. Many of our clients already have a food safety program in place and need it reviewed, updated, or brought current with new FDA requirements rather than rebuilt from zero.

Yes. We work with businesses of all sizes and scale the food safety program to match the complexity of your product and process, rather than applying a large-manufacturer template to a small operation.
